Nina Sky – Your Favorite Twins

If you weren’t at the HOUSE OF VANS last night for the MadeMe x Vans release not only did you miss out on a great party, but you also missed big screen showing of their latest video offering. The video, shot by Jared and Josh of Vans and directed by Erin of MadeMe, features “Just Another Day,” a remake of Queen Latifah’s 1993 joint we recorded with Melo- X, and the dance stylings of Tigga Calore. What a dope way to showcase the new sneaker collab. TWO THUMBS UP.

We dropped our EP The Other Side in August and now we’re super excited to release our first video off the project, “You Aint Got It” directed by Treezy.

We wanted to shoot a video that was reminiscent of Sagat’s “Funk Dat’ video, which is the song we sampled for “You Ain’t Got It.” It was important to us that Treezy captured the same vibe and grainy look as the original video, so we shot half in the city streets with our friends. To contrast the street element and give a softer, more modern feel, we splashed it with colorful shots, some green screen action, and bam! “You Ain’t Got It” came to life.

Big shout to Jackie Gomez for the Makeup and everyone on set who helped to make this visual dope!

We’re having a hard time deciding what to be this Halloween, so we decided to go into the Nina Sky archives + see if we could recycle a costume from back in the day. Came across these pics from our first grade Halloween party… Ya think we could revisit these outfits? lol.. probably not, BUT they’re stilllll soooo cute, we had to share.
